About our company

Thessaly Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is very unique.  We are a small, family-run business, hands-on all the way.  Our trees are given individual care and are chemical-free.  Our property is inspected and certified each year by the BIO Hellas organic association.  Each November, our olives are hand-picked and to maintain freshness they are taken immediately to be cold-pressed solely by mechanical means.  The facility where the olives are pressed is also certified organic by BIO Hellas.  Upon chemical analysis Thessaly Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil shows to have a very low acidity of 0.3 %.  Our oil is left to settle for a few weeks before it is bottled.  From there each bottle is personally inspected, labeled and ready to be shipped to you for use in your favorite dishes.
